Indonesia: Stainless steel scrap imports fall over 40% m-o-m in July

Indonesia’s stainless steel scrap imports registered a fall of 42% m-o-m at 16,091 t in Jul’22 compared to 27,950 t in Jun’22, as per customs data maintained by SteelMint.
Total import volumes were recorded at 150,384 t in Jan-Jul’22, a 12.8% y-o-y rise as against 133,313 t in the same period last year.
