Indonesia: Stainless steel imports slip over 15% m-o-m in Oct’22

Indonesia’s stainless steel imports fell by 16% m-o-m at 15,843 t in Oct’22 compared to 13,674 t in Sept, as per Customs data.
China continued to be the largest exporter with 6,580 t followed by Japan and Malaysia with 4,811 t and 3,450 t, respectively.
Total import volumes were recorded at 195,601 t in Jan-Oct’22.
