Indonesia’s top miner PT Adaro projects that the country’s thermal coal output would be around 570-580 mn t this year, lower than the annual target of 650 mn t, amid weather-related and Covid-19 disruptions. For 2022, the miner sees production at around 600 mn t. The country’s coal production has reached 429.75 mn t since Jan’21, which is 68.76% of the annual target.
