Indonesia may again impose coal export curbs later this year — Reports

Coal miners in Indonesia may face a renewed export curb in April or Aug’22, given typically low mine output at that time time of the year, Pandu Sjahrir, chairman of the Indonesian Coal Mining Association, was quoted as saying. The move is seen as directed towards ensuring sufficient supplies at local power plants following critical stock levels in the beginning of CY’22.
