Indonesian high-CV 6500 GAR coal prices rose further by $2/t, w-o-w, to $132/t FoB, while prices of 5000 GAR coal moved up by 1.3/t to $107.5/t FoB. Torrential rains have affected mining operations in the country as a few coal miners declared force majeure at Kalimantan, while several mines halted operations and delayed loading cargoes for flooding. The demand from China has slowed down a bit post peak summer demand thus restricting any sharp rise in Indonesian coal prices this week.
