Ferrous scrap imports by Indonesia rose as much as 21.1% m-o-m and recorded at 75,010 t in Jul’20 as compared to 59,070 t in Jun’20, as per the data by SteelMint statistics. Highest imports were from Hong Kong at 21,481 t followed by Malaysia at 18,138 t. On year on year basis, Indonesia’s ferrous scrap imports contracted by nearly 48.4% to 667,080 t during Jan-Jul’20.
