Indonesia: Ferrous scrap imports fall over 25% on-month in April

Indonesia’s imports of ferrous scrap were recorded at 92,039 t in Apr’22, down 26% m-o-m from 124,460 t in Mar.
Hong Kong was the largest supplier at 33,800 t, followed by Australia and Singapore at 23,000 t and 20,000 t, respectively.
However on a y-o-y basis, imports increased slightly by 2% compared to 90,000 t in Apr’21.
