Indonesia: Ferrous scrap imports fall by over 10%, m-o-m, in Jan’22

Indonesia’s imports of ferrous scrap were recorded at 0.12 mnt in Jan’22, down 14% m-o-m from 0.14 mn t in Dec’21.
The Hong Kong was the largest supplier with 37,792 t, followed by Australia and Singapore with 33,956 t and 16,234 t, respectively.
However, import volumes rose by 9% compared to 0.11 mnt in Jan’21 y-o-y.
