Indonesia: Ferrous scrap imports down by 9%, m-o-m, in July

Indonesia’s ferrous scrap imports were recorded at 98,688 t in Jul’22, witnessing a drop of 9% m-o-m from 108,251 t in June.
Hong Kong continued to be the largest exporter at 26,906 t, followed by Singapore and Australia at 21,462 t and 21,324 t, respectively.
Similarly, on a y-o-y basis, imports declined sharply by 45% compared to 177,866 t in Jul’21.
