Indonesia: Ferrous scrap imports down by 19% m-o-m in Sep’22

Indonesia’s ferrous scrap imports stood at 97,091 t in Sept’22, witnessing a drop of 19% m-o-m from 120,160 t in Aug’22.
Australia was the largest exporter at 28,814 t followed by Singapore and Hong Kong at 20,029 t and 15,909 t, respectively.
A total volume of 952,598 t has been imported by the country in Jan-Sep’22, a 7% decline as compared to CPLY.
