- Indonesian high-carbon ferro chrome imports increased significantly by 40% m-o-m to 157,452 t in Jul’22 compared to 112,352 t in Jun’22, as per customs data.
- South Africa was the largest exporter at 143,104 t followed by India at 14,348 t.
- Meanwhile, in Jan-Jul’22, cumulative import volumes rose by 15% to 1.035 mnt compared to 897,403 t in the same period last year.
