Indonesia: Billet imports rise by 27%, m-o-m, in Oct’21

Indonesia’s billet imports in Oct’21 rose to 0.3 mn t from 0.23 mn t in Sept, a month-on-month rise of 27.10%, as per customs data.
India was the largest exporter with 0.16 mn t of shipments, followed by Oman with 0.05 mn t.
Billet imports fell by 6% in Jan-Oct’21 to 2.72 mn t as against 2.88 mn t in the same period last year.
