Indonesia: Benchmark coal prices fall to 6-month low in Nov’22

Indonesia’s benchmark coal price, also known as Harga Batubara Acuan (HBA), fell by $23/t m-o-m to a 6-month low at $308/t in Nov’22. The fall in prices came amid weak winter restocking demand from Europe and other Asian countries and weakening gas prices. However, on a y-o-y basis, HBA prices are 43% higher.
