Indonesia: Benchmark coal price falls marginally in Sept’22

Indonesia’s benchmark coal price, also known as Harga Batubara Acuan (HBA), dipped by $2/t m-o-m to $319/t for Sept’22. Prices dropped amid sufficient domestic coal production in China and increased Russian coal supply. A sharp fall, however, was limited on expectations of winter restocking demand from Asian and European countries from this month.
