India’s Vizag Steel further hikes long steel price by INR 500-700/t – sources

Govt owned steel maker – Vizag Steel has increased rebar and wire rod coil prices further by INR 500/t ($7) and INR 700/t ($9) respectively, trade channels reported SteelMint. Revised offers will come into with effect from 18th Aug’20. SteelMint’s current reference price assessment of BF grade rebar (12mm) is at INR 38,500-39,000/t ex Chennai, GST extra.
