Indian steel major- Tata Steel has announced a hefty INR 2,500-2,750/t hike in list price for CRC, while HRC has moved up by INR 500/t, with effect from 1 Oct, SteelMint learned from its credible market sources. The effective list prices after the hike now stand at INR 52,000/t (ex-Mumbai) for CRC and INR 43,500/t (ex-Mumbai) for HRC. The company churned out 18.20 mn t of crude steel in FY ’20, while the deliveries stood at 16.97 mn t.
