India’s imported scrap prices increased by up to 2% w-o-w, influenced by a 5% rise in LME nickel prices. According to BigMint’s assessment, scrap from the nearshore region for SS304 is at $1,440/t (up 2%), while SS316 is at $2,635/t (up 1%), both CFR Mundra. Meanwhile, domestic scrap prices remained stable at INR 121,500/t for SS304 and INR 221,000/t for SS316, ex-Delhi.
