SAIL has scheduled two auctions for off-grade pig iron of around 2,800 t from Bokaro Steel Plant (BSL) on 12 Aug’20 and 2,000 t from IISCO Steel Plant (ISP) on 13 Aug’20, Steelmint learned from sources. In the previous auction from BSL conducted on 29 Jul’20 for similar grade, entire quantity (5,700 t – 2 rakes) got booked at INR 25,900/t exw while auction from IISCO on 03 Aug’20 for 3,200 t was concluded at around INR 26,500-26,950/t exw.
