Steel Authority of India Ltd. – a government of India Company has floated an auction for around 3,000t steel grade mixed prime pig iron on 24 Jun’20 from its Bhilai Steel Plant, Chhattisgarh. This is for the first time that the company is offering pig iron through online auction. Last pig iron offers from SAIL BSO were around INR 22,700/t EXW Bhilai.
