Steel Authority of India Ltd. is going to conduct an auction for around 2,850 t (1 rake) basic grade pig iron from its Bokaro Steel Plant (BSL) Jharkhand. In another auction, 1,000 t pig iron is offered from its IISCO Steel Plant (ISP) West Bengal. Both the auctions are scheduled to be held on 4 Nov’20. The previous BSL auction for 2,850 t received bids at INR 28,500/t exw while auction from ISP for 2,000 t was concluded at a weighted average price of INR 29100/t exw.
