Govt owned steelmaker – SAIL has scheduled an auction for 5,700 t (2,850 t x 2 rakes) of basic grade pig iron on 22 Mar ’21 from its Bokaro Steel Plant, Jharkhand. Its previous auction failed to receive bids due to higher base price at INR 35,000/t. Before that on 10 Mar ’21,one rake (2,850 t) was concluded at INR 33,950/t exw and the remaining two (5,700 t) were concluded at INR 34,200/t exw.
