India’s SAIL to auction 23,000 t commercial rails from Bhilai Steel Plant

Steel Authority of India (SAIL) is going to conduct an auction for 23,000 t (52 & 60 kg-full length) commercial rails from its Bhilai Steel Plant, Chhattisgarh. The auction is scheduled on 21 Jan ’21. In the previous auction conducted on 12 Jan ’21, the entire quantity (14,000 t rails) was booked at INR 31,000/t exw.
