India’s RINL rolls out 75×40 steel channels from structural mill

State-owned Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Ltd. (RINL) has, for the first time, rolled out 75×40 steel channels from the structural mill at Visakhapatnam Steel Plant. The mill also produces angles, i beams and channels of different sizes and the expansion unit of the mill had launched 50x50x6 angles in Aug’20. The new product will be manufactured as per market requirements, sources at RINL informed SteelMint. Primarily a building material, the channels have wide application in the construction industry, apart from being used in building tractors.
