Indian Chrome ore production recorded a drop of 10% m-o-m in Sep’ 20. This year there has been a severe contraction in chrome ore production due to Covid-led disruptions and the auction of three major mines. Meanwhile, the monsoons worsened the situation for the chromium mining industry, pulling down production to its lowest in 10 years in Sep’ 20.
