India’s top stainless steel coil manufacturer has announced a price hike effective 23 August, 2024, driven by rising LME Nickel prices. This marked the third consecutive price increase in August. Sources informed BigMint that cost of 316-grade stainless steel coils, both hot-rolled (HR) and cold-rolled (CR), has increased by INR 3,000/t ($35/t). Similarly, 304-grade coils have witnessed a rise of INR 3,000/t ($35/t).
