India’s imported stainless steel scrap prices rose by up to $30/t w-o-w, driven by increasing LME nickel prices. SS304 scrap reached $1,450/t and SS316 at $2,650/t CFR Mundra. Inquiries for imported material from mill side have reduced on rising scrap prices. Domestic prices remained steady, with SS304 at INR 121,000/t and SS316 at INR 220,000/t in Delhi. LME nickel prices were around $16,950/t.
