India’s imported stainless steel scrap prices decreased by up to $20/t w-o-w due to easing freight rates. Nearshore imported SS304 was at $1,390/t and SS 316 at $2,580/t, CFR Mundra. The inquiries for imported scrap have seen improvements this week. Meanwhile, domestic scrap remained steady with SS304 at INR 120,000/t and SS 316 at INR 220,000/t, ex-Delhi. At the time of reporting, LME nickel stood at $16,380/t.
