State-owned NTPC informed that it has commissioned India’s first green hydrogen blending project today. The green hydrogen blending has been started in the piped natural gas network of NTPC Kawas, Surat. The Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board has given approval for 5% vol./vol. blending of green hydrogen with PNG to start with which would be later scaled to reach 20%.
