India’s crude steel production was recorded around 9.9 mn t in Jan’21, up 1.9% m-o-m against 9.7 mn t in Dec’20, according to recent data released by Joint Plant Committee. Mills continued to ramp up their crude steel output backed by strong demand in both flats and longs segment.
