India’s crude steel production in H1CY21 increased by 29% to 56.43 mn t from 43.75 mn t in H1CY20. Compared to H1CY20, a significant increase in production can be seen in the months of March, April, May and June 2021. Only in the month of Feb’21 crude steel production dropped by 3% compared to the same month last year.
