India’s crude steel production in the month of Dec’20 was registered at 9.38 mn t, a growth of 1.5% compared to 9.24 mn t in Nov’20, according to the report by Joint Plant Commission. Improved capacity utilization on robust demand resulted in higher output. Total output in nine months of FY ’21 was recorded at 71.9 mn t.
