- In December 2023, India’s copper scrap imports declined by 9% m-o-m to 23,260 t from November’s 25,552 t. However, there was a 4.9% rise y-o-y.
- Brass honey scrap, the largest import, saw a 13.5% monthly dip to 9,073 t, followed by Druid with 4,530 t and Berry scrap with 2,102 t.
- The Saudi remained the primary supplier with 3,455 tonnes, followed by Germany 3,196 t and the UK 2,796 t.
