India’s copper pipes and tubes imports decline m-o-m in May’24

India’s copper imports for finished flat products decreased by 22% m-on-m to 10,271 t in May’24. Imports for pipes and tubes grade decreased by 31% m-o-m to 6,482 t in May’24. Meanwhile, there was an 8% y-o-y increase in imports of finished flat products, Moreover there was a 6% y-o-y increase in imports of pipe and tube grade scrap, as per data maintained by BigMint.
