India’s coking coal imports largely stable m-o-m in June

Coking coal imports are estimated to be at around 4.97 mnt in June’22, more or less stable (-1%) m-o-m. Higher prices limited the raw material purchases by Indian steel mills. However, imports are likely to fall in July post-the government’s decision to impose export duty on steel.
