India’s coal production increases by 11% y-o-y in July

India’s coal production increased by 11% y-o-y to 60.4 mnt in Jul’22. However, the volume was down by the same percentage on m-o-m basis. Of the total output, the contribution of Coal India Ltd was 47.33 mnt while Singareni Collieries Company produced 3.29 mnt. The remaining output came from captive and merchant miners, increasing by 42% y-o-y.
