The Ministry of Coal announced e-auction results for the 11th round of commercial coal mines conducted over 18-22 Mar’25. Rungta Sons secured two mines — Seregarha and Vijay Central — with premiums of 36.5% and 48.5% respectively. Jindal Steel & Power won Saradhapur Jalatap East at 10%, and Jindal Power acquired Banai & Bhalumunda at 48%. Western Coalfields bagged Dahegaon/Makardhokra-IV mine at 10.5%. Seven other coal mines were sold across bidders.
