INDIA::Rungta Mines keep domestic Iron Ore prices unchanged for January 

Rungta Mines Ltd, one of the largest private miner based in India have kept its domestic iron ore prices unchanged on moderate demand, although sponge iron prices have increased by upto Rs 1,000 per tonne in December.

“We have kept our domestic iron ore lumps prices unchanged although demand in export market is picking up and our offers for 63.5/63 Fe iron fines are in range of $155/t CFR China.” said one of the company officials.

Current offers from Rungta Mines for 63% Fe CLO Iron Ore stands at Rs 7,250/t (Loaded to Wagons Odisha) and 65% Fe stands at Rs 7,650/t (Loaded to Wagons Odisha).

Recently NMDC, a state owned miner has reduced iron ore lumps prices by upto 6% and kept its fines prices unchanged.
