Indian Structure Prices Remain Positive in Week 39

Domestic structure prices remained on positive side across the major markets. However, south market remained stable in the duration.

Indian secondary structure manufacturers have increased prices by INR 150-750/MT W-o-W for all grades amid improvement in buying activities. Major price hike was seen in Raipur (+750), followed by Ahmedabad (+500).

In the meantime, raw material i.e billet prices have risen by INR 100-600/MT across the major markets, except Durgapur (-50) and Hyderabad (-250).

Currently, 100*100 mm angle offers are assessed at INR 26,300/MT in Durgapur, INR 26,100/MT in Ahmedabad, INR 26,000/MT in Raipur and INR 27,000/MT in Hyderabad.

Meanwhile, 200*75 mm channel is offered at INR 28,900/MT in Ghaziabad, INR 26,000/MT in Durgapur, INR 26,300/MT in Ahmedabad, INR 27,700/MT in Mumbai and INR 25,500/MT in Raipur.

Heavy 200*100 mm beam prices are assessed at INR 26,000/MT in Durgapur, INR 28,400/MT in Ghaziabad, INR 26,100/MT in Ahmedabad, INR 28,200/MT in Mumbai and INR 25,000/MT in Raipur.
