Consistent increase in Ingot prices pushed Structure prices up. Ingot prices move up by INR 500-1,100/MT on W-o-W basis.
Structure prices in North India inched up as Ingot prices registered an uptick by INR 500-600/MT in Mandi Gobindgarh and Ghaziabad. MS Channel 150 mm was today offered at INR 35,400/MT in Mandi Gobindgarh and I-Beam 150 mm at INR 34,900/MT.
Market participants expect prices to improve by INR 300-500/MT in coming days, for Northern market.
Ingot offers in Durgapur also jumped by INR 400/MT in a week. That resulted in improvement in Structure offers by INR 200-300/MT. Today, 75 mm Channel in Durgapur was offered at INR 33,000/MT.
Structure prices in Raipur today remained unchanged after increased by INR 500-600/MT over the last week. Meanwhile, Monnet Ispat kept its offers constant; 200 mm Beam was offered at INR 31,500/MT.
