Indian Structure Prices Fall in Raipur and Mumbai

Indian secondary structure manufacturers based in Raipur (central) and
Mumbai (west) regions have reduced prices sharply by INR 100-200/MT W-o-W for angle, channel and beam.

Billet prices have also dropped INR 100-450/MT, which may impact structure market.

Meanwhile, positive sentiments prevail in east (Durgapur) and south (Hyderabad), followed by Ahemdabad and Ghaziabad.

Light structure angle (40X40) offers in Durgapur are assessed at INR 24,400/MT(+200), Ahemdabad at INR 24700/MT(+400), Mumbai at INR 26,000/MT(-183), Raipur at INR 23,800/MT(-33) and Hyderabad at INR 26,000/MT(+500).

Prices for channel (200X75 mm)and beam (200X100 mm) in Ghaziabad,which are at INR 27,900/MT and INR 27,400/MT respectively; have gone up by INR 200/MT.

However, the same size channel offers in Durgapur are assessed at INR 25,000/MT(+900), INR 25,400(+400) in Ahemdabad, INR 26,700/MT(-183) in Mumbai and INR 24,000/MT (+133) in Raipur.
