Domestic structure market this week has registered a sharp downturn in prices. Light and heavy structure prices across all grades fell by INR 200-1,100/MT in a week. Structure manufacturers based in east, west and south regions are bounded to reduce their offers amid lack of buyers at higher rates post MIP imposition.
While, central Indian market has remained almost stable with minor corrections of INR 200/MT W-o-W. However, billet prices today rose steeply by INR 200-600/MT against the last day closing.
Currently, angle makers are offering 100*100 mm material at INR 27,000/MT in both Durgapur and Ahmedabad, INR 25,600/MT in Raipur and INR 27,500/MT in Hyderabad.
200*75 channel is available at INR 27,000/MT in Durgapur, INR 29,700/MT in Ghaziabad, INR 27,200/MT in Ahmedabad, INR 28,400/MT in Mumbai and INR 26,100/MT in Raipur.
Meanwhile, heavy structure, 200*100 beam offers in Mumbai slumped by INR 1,000/MT to INR 28,900/MT and INR 500/MT to INR 29,200/MT in Gaziabad.
