During the past 3 weeks assessment, it has been seen that structure market is continues on decline mode; small scale manufacturer are reporting price correction this week by INR 100-600/MT.
Following price corrections in Indian billet, the manufacturers of structure also lower their prices. They also added, weak demand a strong reason behind continuous fall in structure prices.
In this week, 125×125 mm billet prices have decreased by INR 600/MT across major Indian regions and hovering at the range of INR 22,450-26,450/MT.
Western (Ahmedabad) and southern India based structure makers have reduced offers for angle, channel and beam of all sizes by INR 600/MT and INR 500/MT respectively.
However, Durgapur offers remained stable amid lull trading activity and weak demand.
At the same time, prices of all heavy structure in central India remained firm; trade discount heard in Raipur at INR 600-800/MT on the attached list price. On the flip side, prices of light structure in Central India have decreased by INR 100/MT.
Intervening, 200X100 mm beam is being offered in Durgapur by INR 28,500/MT, Ghaziabad at INR 31,800/MT, Ahmedabad at INR 28,400/MT, Mumbai at INR 30,600/MT and in Raipur at INR 27,500/MT.
Currently, 100×100 mm angle offers are assessed in Durgapur at INR 29,500/MT, Ahmedabad at INR 28,400/MT, Raipur at INR 28,000/MT and in Hyderabad at INR 29,000/MT.
Heavy channel, 200×75 mm offers are evaluated in Durgapur at INR 28,500/MT, Ghaziabad at INR 32,300/MT, Ahmedabad at INR 28,600/MT, Mumbai at INR 30,000/MT and in Raipur at INR 28,000/MT.
