After a rapid rise in prices in last few weeks, Steel grade Pig iron market tries to maintain their offers at previous level with no big change.

[su_quote]A manufacturer at Giridih shared, NINL has open its N2 Steel grade prices at INR 24,500/MT, rise by INR 500/MT, which has made purchase of Pig iron from NINL little expensive for traders and finished product manufacturers belonging to nearby Giridih. This made them to purchase material from us, and increase our demand.[/su_quote]

The prices of Steel grade at Giridih moved up by INR 1,000/MT within a week’s time. Currently, Steel grade Pig iron at Giridih is offered at INR 25,200/MT (basic).

Manufacturer at Raigarh informed, Steel grade Pig iron prices remain unchanged, hovering at INR 25,300- 25,400/MT (basic).

[su_quote]He quoted, Pig iron prices have already gone high by substantial amount, due to limited and expensive availability of Scrap. Otherwise demand for Steel grade doesn’t seem good; prices could correct in near future, but the chances for improvement seem very less.[/su_quote]

Offers at Raipur, previously were hovering at INR 25,700/MT (basic) which shoot up to INR 26,000/MT (up by INR 300/MT) this week.
