Indian steel demand to get back on track soon- Mesco Steel

In an interview given to SteelMint correspondent, Mr J.K. Singh, chairman Mesco steel said that ” Steel demand is under pressure now. It is because of the general market perception that things are slowing down, the automobile market has come down by 19% and the construction has gone down by

14%. All these reflect into the steel demand in the country. However the government of India is taking steps to revive the economy and I am hopeful that things will be back on track soon.”

In the current quarter (Q3) and the next quarter (Q4) Steel prices will be more or less remain flat or may go further down. But It should go up from the Q1 of the new Fiscal year.
