Sponge iron prices in Indian domestic market kept unchanged for last few weeks on stable demand said market participants.
“Prices are more or less stable since NCDEX have suspended steellong contracts over BIS norms. Prices are expected to trade in same range for some more time. There is limited scope of prices correcting in short to medium term.” said a sponge broker based in India.
Current offers stand in range of Rs 20,000-22,000/t (ex-works), he further added.
