Indian Sponge iron prices look to stabilize – Monnet Ispat 

“Sponge iron market in India has been constant in terms of both demand and
prices.

I don't see any major alteration taking place in the next couple of
months, without any signal in the spending cycle.

Until and unless government takes some drastic steps for infusing the
investment in infrastructure and RBI
cuts interest rates, it should not be surprising to see a firm market ahead”, said Mr Amitabh S. Mudgal, Senior VP, Marketing & Corporate Affairs, MIEL, New Delhi.

Monnet Ispat is offering Sponge iron at Rs 20,000-20,200/MT from Raipur and at Rs 19,500/MT from Raigarh (ex works prices).
