Indian sponge iron export offers to Bangladesh have risen by around $25/t w-o-w following hike in domestic offers, as per SteelMint’s weekly assessment. The fresh offers are hovering at $445/t CFR Chittagong, Bangladesh. Earlier this week, trades of around 15,000 t were reported at around $425-430/t CFR Chittagong. Domestic sponge iron prices in Rourkela have risen by INR 2,200/t w-o-w.
