Indian sponge iron export offers increased by $3-5/t, following a rise in domestic offers by INR 500-700/t ($7-10), w-o-w. The fresh export offers are learned at $300/t CPT Benapole, equivalent to $315-320/t CFR Chittagong, Bangladesh. SteelMint learned from exporters in eastern India (Kolkata) that, the Bangladeshi buyers are bidding at around $290/t CPT, on the assumption of a drop in the price range in the coming days.
