Silico Manganese prices in India remain stable, amid no prospect of any reduction in prices in the near future.
The Silico Manganese market has stabalized this week after recent rounds of strengthening of prices in India, on healthy interest from end-users and traders in India. Silico Manganese 60-14 prices remain unchanged from last week and is being traded at around INR 52,000 /MT (Ex-Raipur) and at INR 51,000 /MT (Ex-Durgapur), with prices gaining acceptance and deals being concluded on clearer market direction. Semis market in India has also been improving rapidly, as prices for both billet and sponge rose by INR 700-1,400/MT across India in the week gone by.
In the export market, Indian producers have kept offer levels unchanged in line with prices in the domestic market, and expectations of better demand as European buyers returned to the market. Silico Manganese 60-14 is being offered at USD 760 /MT FOB East-coast India, and Silico Manganese 65-16 is being offered at USD 820 /MT FOB East-coast India.
SAIL Purchase Tender for 60,940 MT Silico Manganese, Due Date Extended To 27 Sep’16
SAIL had invited a tender from indigenous manufacturers for tentative purchase of 60,940 MT silico manganese for its different plants.
The company has required a tentative quantity of about 60,940 MT silico manganese from indigenous source for its different plants/units for the period of six months starting from Oct’16 to Mar’17 in two cycles of 3 months each.
The Bid submission due date and the Techno-commercial opening date has now been extended to 27 Sep’16. The earlier mentioned due date was 15 Sep’16.
