Silico manganese export market confirmed further strong pricing as imported manganese ore continues to surge higher.
Silico Manganese 60-14 is being offered at USD 720 /MT FOB East-coast India, and 65-16 is being offered at USD 770/MT FOB East-coast India.
With fresh deals coming up from Chinese and Japanese countries along with high imported ore prices has aided the Indian producers to increase their offer levels in the export market. A Kolkata based producer remarked, “Sentiment is reasonably positive in the market and we are expecting prices to remain strong.”
As the cost of production for silico manganese has increased, market sources cited that the Silico Manganese producers have to increase offers. Few producers were also bullish on the Silico Manganese market as demand is also reasonably high.
In the domestic market Silico Manganese 60-14 is being traded in the range of INR 49,000-50,000/MT (Ex-Durgapur) and at around INR 51,000/MT (Ex-Raipur).
